In 2017, I wrote my second spoken word poetry: The Wait For My Soulmate for someone, who I thought could be the one but turned out not to be ‘it’. So you’re probably wondering, if I have met ‘The One’? Well, below you can read a ‘haiku’ poem which illustrates the perfect definition of what I would love to find in my other half! If he exists? To be honest, I truly believe I’ve met him but unfortunately due to unfair Reasons and Seasons destiny decided differently. So, we both chose to go our separate ways. Such a ‘Romeo & Juliet’ story, right? Oh well, such is LIFE!

Does that mean, staying single my whole life? No, of course not! During, the wait I’ve discovered so many new treasures within myself that first needed to be developed to become that perfect gem for my special King or your special Queen, guys!
So dear, single ladies and gentlemen read the Holy Word of God, watch the most romantic movie on Netflix, treat yourself to some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and just enjoy the single life as long as it lasts!

For the Holy scripture says: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” – 1 Corinthians 13: 4 – 8 New International Version
*According to Wikipedia: “Love is….is a comic strip created by New Zealand cartoonist Kim Casali (Grove) in the 1960s. The cartoons originated from a series of love notes Grove drew for her future husband, Roberto Casali.“
*According to the Google dictionary: ” A ‘haiku’ is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. It could also be a poem in English written in the form of a haiku” (such as the poem of N.R.Hart above).
